Bucas Greenline Turnout Silk Feel

This Eco-Friendly Turnout rug combines great Bucas quality and design, with the use of recycled materials. Bucas is dedicated to warming your horse, not the planet.  

For the past number of years, Bucas has been working hard to try and make our manufacturing as sustainable as possible.

Bucas worked closely with their fabric suppliers to find a recycled / eco-friendly fabric that would be strong enough to use on a horse rug.

Plastic bottles are crushed, shredded and spun into a yarn, which is then woven into a ripstop fabric.

The production of this recycled yarn uses significantly less energy and water, and produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions.

All fabrics, the waterproof and breathable 600D ripstop outer fabric, insulation, lining, straps and binding are made using recycled yarn.

Lining & Fill

• Greenline Turnout 300 – Silk-feel/Dermo-care lining & 300g Thermobonded Polyester wadding insulation.
• Greenline Turnout 100 – Silk-feel/Dermo-care lining & 100g Thermobonded Polyester wadding insulation.

The Turnout comes with all the great features you would expect from Bucas — the popular Silk-feel/Dermo-care lining, shoulder darts for best fit and comfort, T-bar front closure with signature magnetic Snap-lock and attachment points for a matching Neck — but with the peace of mind that your rug has been made ecologically and with the future in mind.

Available in classic cut with a matching Neck sold separately and in sizes 115/5’0 – 165/7’0.
